Burchill’s successes in creating original concepts for major green-fields projects, and working out solutions for failed developers’ holdings, relied on his unique data research approach and his ability to synthesise best outcomes from that data. This was reinforced by his overall involvement in many aspects of the progressive building of one of the world’s great resort city prototypes.

His name became so synonymous with visionary success that his succeeding partners retained his name exclusively in their firm’s title after Geoff Burchill retired from fulltime activity in 1995 – 21 years after creating the firm in Surfers Paradise.

Other than that firm’s recent work overseas, most major projects identified in Burchill Partners website were taken up during Geoff Burchill’s time as principal partner. He was responsible for original client contact and most of the creative planning of those projects.
